Marion Matched gets sandbagged as she’s trying to start her new match-making business. The story is the first volume in a new series that I’m looking forward to as it develops over the next few months.Īs always, the characters drew me in and wouldn’t let me go. Deanna Chase is one of the authors I don’t sample any more. My recommendation this month is Paranormal Women’s Fiction from one of my favorite authors. You can find several editions in the public domain. If you haven’t read it yet, it’s worth the time. After slogging through three heavy hitters in the first quarter, I cruised through this small volume in large part because I found it so intriguing. My classic of the month was Hesse’s Siddhartha. I am not a student of the classics so I have absolutely no idea how accurate or otherwise these tales are but they add a dash of excitement to my bookish world and for that I am very happy. Ancient Greek mythology always fascinates and Jennifer Saint has captured something special in these books by focusing on the women, empowering their characters and very much bringing ancient Greece to life.
